trip to chichen-itza

On the way Chichen-Itza we made a stop in Valladolid. We were said it was an amazing ancient city full of historical buildings! Once we arrived in this super ancient place we decided to drive around and see first, then to park car somewhere and walk around. 

We were so disappointed as we have seen nothing beautiful. There was only one remarkable church in the city center. I even took a video of all the route.

After Valladolid we drove towards Chichen-Itza. Once we paid the fee and went inside the territory we felt like we were in a huge market full of gypsies trying to sell their goods. 

I did not feel the place, absolutely no energy.  I wanted to walk around being in complete silence and enjoy watching the pyramid ( btw only one!!). It took us 30 minutes to walk around and see the place. Well, at least I can say now, I’ve seen The Pyramids of Maya.

I will post the video once I finish editing the whole trip. It was +35C and so hard walking around. We should have gone to Cozumel Island. 

Another 4days weather really sucked! It felt worse than in Hong Kong! We went to the World’s Largest Natural Aquarium and spent absolutely amazing day there. See the video!

I wish I could have visited Mexico City, but there were not enough time. I’ve seen enough of Cuncun. Frankly, I won’t be coming here anymore, as there is nothing special about this place. The worse thing about this place is SERVICE. Even in nice restaurants waiters were so rude insisting on tips. HALLO! I will tip myself as much as I think I should! 

Mostly it was like: “Here is you bill, and I already wrote a good tip for me of 15% above! Thanks!” WTF? A waiter writes tips himself! Ridiculous!

On the plane back to Miami. So happy to go back!
